Just got started on an online game called "Travian"...it seems to be like Civilization, where you build up your resources, train your armies, etc.  Except that it's online and you can interact with however many people there are.

It runs in real time, but takes awhile to build stuff so you don't have to watch it too closely...yet?

Thought this might be a way for us to game/interact remotely.

Cool!   I'm Roman also.  At first all you need do is click on your little guy to the right, he'll give you instructions on what to do...it's kind of like a tutorial and walks you through how to do everything.

Ben, the more I read from the link you sent, the better we look.  It seems that the people around me are either inactive or not doing too well.  The leaders in our game only have 1 city....and the posts indicate that you should have more than 1 as time goes on.  We will see.  I'm double checking to see where you and Steve are.

I screwed the pooch a bit and built a warehouse and cranny before I read that post, but All my resources will be level 1 by tomorrow AM or sooner in raiding this PM goes well. Heh hehe hehe

My rank finally climbed below 5000.  I'm 4421 currently.

I am disappointed i thought i would be raiding.  My huge army consisted of a "RAT",  WTF?

Looks like this game makes you work for it....all the more rewarding as time goes on.  When I got my rat troops, I said wtf also, then laughed.

I'm at 4201...should be building a Barracks here shortly...then once I have 2 Legionnaires there are 2 towns nearby that haven't grown since we started, and they're population is 2...so ripe for the picking!
